Morrison's Soul Food was founded by Sheila Morrison's parents Cookie & Eddie Morrison back in 2002. Growing up Sheila ran the business with her parents which has been a thriving successful business & staple in the Auburn Gresham community that has provided jobs for the youth for many years. Morrison's Soul Food kept a line outside of their front door that continued down Ashland Avenue rain sleet or snow. Morrison's Soul Food is not only the first to ever do it but also they are the best to ever do it.

Unfortunately Sheila lost both her parents so Sheila decided on her own to keep her parents legacy going by any means necessary by picking up the pieces. Sheila chose to rebrand and rebuild Morrison's Soul Food from scratch building a real team, a solid team, a loving, praying, God fearing team.

Morrison's Soul Food is black owned and woman led. Be on the lookout in the near future as Sheila will be launching another full service dine in Morrison's Soul Food in the community where you can come in & sit down and enjoy your meal like the good ole days until then then we have pick up and delivery available located downtown at our south loop location.
